    Angela has been part of the Type 1 Diabetes Prevention Trial since May 2012. Her mother, Rebecca, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes more than 30 years ago which requires her to undertake a daily regime of testing her blood sugars and using a constantly attached insulin pump.
